We provide driver training for the DSA PCV D1 and D1+E driving tests (Minibus and minibus and trailer). Our instructors have been training lorry and bus drivers for 25 years and have a very high 1st time pass rate.

We offer both PCV D1 and PCV D1+E minibus driver training courses to enable individuals, groups and schools to drive a minibus or a passenger transport vehicle between 9 and 16 seats.

PCV Category D1 'Minibus' (9 - 16 seats)

The PCV D1 licence is for drivers 18 or over and who passed their car driving test after January 1st 1997 and wish to drive a minibus with 9 - 16 passenger seats.

Also for drivers who already hold the D1 licence on acquired rights. (pre 1st Jan 1997) with the 101 restriction, where a test must be passed to have the restriction lifted to drive for hire and reward.

Our PCV D1 driver training courses are between 3 and 5 days duration depending upon your driving experience and ability to fully prepare you for the DSA driving test standard. If you are unsure which PCV D1 training course you require we can carry out an assessment drive to determine your course.

Course - PCV D1 (Mini bus)

12 Hour course For those who are very confident in driving large van type vehicles or small mini buses.
   
18 Hour course For those with car driving experience.
   
24 Hour course For those with car driving experience, but with a little extra time.
   
30 Hour course For those with little car driving experience.

10 Hour course For those who are very confident with trailer reversing.
   
12 Hour course For those that are competent with trailer reversing
