LGV C1+E (7.5t and Trailer) Driver Training Courses - Covering Winchester, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, Southampton, Hampshire
We provide LGV C1+E (medium goods vehicle and trailer) driver training courses to enable company's and individuals to tow a trailer with a goods vehicle between 3500kg and up to 7500kg.
The LGV C1+E licence is for drivers who hold the C1 licence who passed their car driving test after January 1st 1997. And for drivers who already hold the C1+E licence on acquired rights. (pre 1st Jan 1997) with the 8250kg train weight restriction, requiring the restriction to be lifted to 12000kg.

3. Call us - Book your Cat C1+E driving course or assessment so we can assess how long a course you will require.

LGV Category C1+E (7.5t and Trailer)
The LGV C1+E licence (7.5t and trailer) is for drivers 18 or over and who passed their car driving test after January 1st 1997 and wish to drive a van or rigid medium goods vehicle with a MAM over 3500kg and up to 7500kg and a traler.
Our LGV C1+E driver training courses are between 10 and 30 hour duration depending upon your driving and towing experience and ability to fully prepare you for the DSA driving test standard. If you are unsure which LGV C1+E training course you require we can carry out an assessment drive to determine your course.
Our category C1+E driver training vehicle is an easy to drive VW LT 46 and Ifor Williams box van trailer, it has the advantage of being small and manoeuvrable, with simple controls, brakes and gears, whilst meeting all DSA requirements to gain your LGV C1+E licence.
IMPORTANT: When looking for a training provider make sure you know how many hours you are getting per day. Many providers are quoting " Price per day " but the day is typically only 3 to 3.5 hours duration.

Assessment drive - £42 + VAT Optional to determine which course is for you. 10 Hour course - £420 + VAT + DSA Test fee For those who are very confident with trailer reversing and used to driving larger vehicles. 12 Hour course - £504 + VAT + DSA Test fee. (3 or 6 hour sessions available) For those that are competent with trailer reversing. 18 Hour course - £756 + VAT + DSA Test fee. (3 or 6 hour sessions available) For those with little experience of trailers and towing experience. DSA Test fee - weekday - £115.00 DSA Test fee - Saturday - £141.00 2:1 Training is also available, call for details.
Please note! when looking to book your course that we are NOT a training broker that farms out your training, we will conduct all of your training in house with our own instructors.
